We’ve been discussing a tournament series with out good friends at Stanly County Conventions & Visitors Bureau for some time now. This year we are Officially Kicking off “Cat’n on the Yadkin” at the 2nd Annual AQUAFest Boat, Fishing & Watersports Festival in the Town of Badin! There will be 10 Fishing Tournaments, one (1) tournament per month on Yadkin Chain Lakes. Tournament events will be held on Lake Tillery, Tuckertown Reservoir, Badin Lake, High Rock Lake and Blewett Falls Lake. Registration Fee for the Tournament Series is $20 per angler. Tournament Series Angler Registration is collected once per series and is active for all 10 Tournaments within the series. Entry per Tournament is $100 per boat plus $50 Big Fish, totaling $150 per team. Tournaments are 100% Payout (polygraph fee will be allocated from entry fees in the event one is utilized, see rules for details). Tournaments will be held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, unless there is a conflict of dates in which case they will be held on a different weekend. Dates are subject to change. We do not tolerate any sort of drama, no buddy system, no bending of the rules and we utilize polygraphs (we dont talk about it, we do it). Badin Lake July 7th & 8th, 2023 (Night)
$1,000 Guaranteed Winners Payout
$500 Guaranteed Big Fish Payout
In person registration starts on July 7th at 5:45pm and ends at 6:45pm. Blast off will be at 7pm. Tournament will end July 8th at 8am. All boats must be inside the No Wake Bouys by 8am. If you do not make it within the No Wake Bouys in time, you will not be able to enter your catch. All participants will be given instructions for the weigh in process at the registration tables.
