A good friend of the team, Ashley Davis, connected on a nice buck with his bow! He has been hunting hard and was finally rewarded with a good bow kill. Here’s what he had to say…

“Wednesday morning I slipped on a piece of property I hunt on highway 160 near Steels Creek. At about 7:20 a doe strolled in to corn pile. I sat patiently and before a shot could present itself a 7 point started to move in! It took about 5 minutes for him to present a broad side shot. Direct hit from the RedHead Chronic! That was the easy part, I thought I gave him enough time to expire… but I was wrong. I took on the blood trail and jumped him up so I decided backed out. A little later we went back and continued to track my buck. We finally found him at 7:30 pm almost a mile from shot location! Not only did he make it that far but he had expired about half way across a pond. With help from 3 good friends we were able to fish him out. He ended up being my first bow buck kill and the largest buck yet, 7 point weighing in at 145 lbs!”

Way to go Ashley!
