Here in the 704 we only have a few more weeks until the opening day of bow season on September 8th! That time of year always sneaks up on us it seems. Among all of the deer scouting, food plot preparation, setting up stands, and practicing shooting your bow to prepare for deer season some people may forget one of the most important tools required for opening day; broadheads. There are so many brands out there nowadays; but which one is really the best? Well it might be similar to the classic “Ford vs. Chevy” duel (of course Chevy is the best) from way back when, only there are hundreds of contenders in the broadhead battle.

Do you prefer fixed blade?

Mechanical?

Or cut-on-contact?

Everyone wants that magic broadhead that will fly smoothly through the air and rip through the flesh, penetrating through muscle and bone alike, while creating an impressive exit wound that will allow for a bloody trail to track!
Which broadhead do you use? Comment and let us know what style and brand gets your vote for the best broadhead!
