Opening weekend of the regular North Carolina Wild Turkey Season came in with a BANG! The sun came up and the birds were vocal. Last year’s turkey season seemed to be a little off but this year was completely different! Lee and Beth laid the smackdown on 2 nice birds first thing in the morning. David smacked one later in the morning, then Russell slung a perfect arrow from his Ben Pearson Recon on Sunday! That’s not all the birds though… Sean tagged a stud of a bird first thing monday morning as well! Hopefully the season will continue to be as great as the opener was.
